This month’s record Ebb and Flow by Larry and His Flask. At one time my band Folk Hogan shared the stage with this wonderful troupe of musicians. After spending all day joking around and hanging out in the green room we loaded up our respective chevy vans and set out to find some water to swim in.
As the troubadours began jumping into the water the line between where the bands began and ended blurred. It was as one super band had formed or perhaps a lost Boy Scout Troupe resurfaced after 20 years alcoholic.
Brother and Boy Scout references aside this band is close to my heart but well before that I fell in love with their music and I hope you can too.
